striving for simplicity
since 2015:
Future Farming
is our take on CEA

we work in Venice, in Italy, a city that has been a beacon of social, engineering, financial, and artistic innovation for centuries. Soon, we’ll be a team of 100: few business guys, most of them scientists, engineer and coders. We are deeply rooted in a territory that amplifies everything we do

Italy is a place where agriculture and food are woven into the culture, and where we can tap into Europe’s second-largest manufacturing base. Here, we’ve built a unique collaboration framework with the national R&D ecosystem, in a country where talent in digital and life sciences thrives. We blend disciplines the way Renaissance workshops once did, because this is a new Renaissance

we took the long path,
but the only possible one

plants aren’t complicated: give them water, light, nutrients, the right conditions, and they’ll grow. No rocket science. The real rocket science starts when you try to build an high-tech greenhouse or an indoor farm by bolting together bits and pieces from half a dozen vendors: you’ll get something that works, sure, but also a Frankenstein of complexity, cost, and integration nightmares

one day back in 2015, in our garage, we looked at that and thought: this is both mess and an opportunity. Let’s start from a blank sheet, from ZERO, literally. So we did. We design every piece of hardware, code every line of software, and make sure every part fits together like it was born to. No overlaps, no wasted effort, no endless debugging of someone else’s “standard.” Just a clean, elegant system that does what it’s meant to: grow plants, not problems. It took time, but Rome wasn’t built in a day

it’s not about building ONE greenhouse or ONE indoor farm. We crafted our proprietary hardware and software platform to build and operate modular CEA systems with drastically improved CAPEX, OPEX and t to build metrics

by connecting the dots in different ways, the platform enables a wide range of applications driving agritech innovation today and paving the way for bio-manufacturing of advanced biomolecules, materials, and therapeutics in the near future. The Future Farming Systems you see now are fully industrial-ready, built to perform and scale. And what’s coming next will raise the bar even higher

at the core of the Future Farming Platform sits F2 OS: your entire farm in a single interface. As far as we can tell, it’s the only system on the market that truly does it all: from pushing water and nutrients through seamless hardware integration, to orchestrating production planning with AI and agentic supervision. ROOT, our chief AI agent, never sleeps and keep on getting smarter

1. End-to-End Operations Management – a single control layer for every operational aspect of the farm, from environmental parameters to workflow execution, ensuring seamless integration across all systems

2. Procuring, Accounting & Supply Chain Traceability – integrated ERP functions to manage procurement, cost tracking, and full traceability from input sourcing to product delivery

3. Proactive Monitoring & Maintenance – real-time system monitoring with predictive and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life

4. Business Intelligence & Production Planning – data-driven insights, forecasting, and scheduling tools to optimize yields, align operations with market demand, and improve long-term performance

AI and autonomous agents are not just features. They are transversal layers enhancing and connecting every one of these functions, driving continuous learning, efficiency, and precision across the entire system

F2 OS seamlessly governs both R&D environments and full-scale industrial production, accelerating technology transfer by unifying them on the same software platform and data ecosystem

every insight, every dataset, every optimization flows instantly from research to production, transforming innovation into market-ready performance faster than ever before

B2B projects

we are not growers: we help growers to grow more and better, sustainably. We are laser-focused on building a diversified and geographically distributed Future Farming capacity seamlessly operated by ROOT by doing 4 things:

a new made in Italy

since day one, we’ve worked across the globe. Yet Italy remains our natural playground for agritech innovation: a country where agriculture is culture, manufacturing is second nature, and world-class research thrives

we believe in a collective approach. When we go abroad, with our Future Farming System we bring with us the very best of Italian manufacturing, design, and science. This is more than exporting technology: it’s building a new chapter of Made in Italy, one that grows not on fashion or food, but on Farming the Future itself
